Thomas Rhett at Wild Bills
Great concert, but the venue was not prepared for the crowds that showed up. We were admitted through the back door, as the entrance line wrapped around the building. This helped us gain access faster. However, as soon as we were admitted, Management told security to slow down the pace. They were just overwhelmed. I cannot imagine being in the back of the line.
Gorillaz and the band sounded perfect, with sound quality comparable to the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Solid bass and vocals were extremely clear throughout.
Thomas would go to the far left and far right of the stage several times. Since there was no spotlight, he faded into the shadows. While we were about 6 people deep, I am sure it was worse if you were viewing in the back. Overall, Gorillaz put on an Amazing Show. My Wife and I had a blast. Probably going again on April 15th!
